Financial Management Impact
KRWCDS, since 1986, has moved not only its volunteers and its workers but also its stake holders especially rural women, men and youths, women committee members, youth committee members in this process of financial management. it was an herculean task for the organization at the initial stages. By practical sessions and theoretical exposures, these local stake holders had gripped the essential aspects of Financial Management.
Today these stake holders do manage their own financial, human, material and natural resources management namely saving management (individual and group savings) Resources mobilizations from the other institutions and govt. department, other private and collective donors, Linkages building with the Banking Institutions, NABARD, Sponsors Day organization through Local resources mobilization. All these mobilization are being monitored and evaluated by internal auditing involving the trained local “Auditors” Audit reports are shared with all the concerned persons and the groups for further clarification and growth of the people’s organizations at different levels. Local, cluster and Taluk levels. These “local auditors” trained by KRWCDS are sustained by the women A[ex body. Health support, House repair, educational support to the poorest children are being supported by the Apex body. Two local staffs are appointed, trained, monitored and supported by the Apex Body. Every month, during the governing body meeting usually held on 23rd of every month, the women’s governing body scrutinizes the applications from the 80 SHG’s and finalizes the applications and accordingly issues cheques. No cash but only cheques that is followed up.
