Development
Ten Community centers owned and managed by peoples organisation
As basic structure for the external, wholistic and inclusive development of the community
Every hamlet and community in India is well built and well knit a basic unit of the society. To complement boost up strengthen and sustain the basic community spirit of a community structure is required to boost up and to encounter their daily seasonal and periodic needs of such community. Namely to organize their own meetings, trainings, workshops, cultural, social, health, economic programmes, agricultural activities etc.

Some villages in Karwar Taluk and Joida Taluk did not have such facilities, namely villages like Kunipet Village, Belur, Kharga, Devalwada, Patta, Barge, Sathegere, Anashi, Kamargoan. Makkeri had come forward expressing their willingness to KRWCDS to contribute the required land, labour and some material support.

KRWCDS along with its staff had participated physically and financially in this task of building the community centres in these villages. Today these villages do maintain their own centres by their participation and ownership for the good of their children, men, women, in short for the community needs fulfillment.

Learning : Any programmes meant for the community, however small it may be, Development programmes or basic community structures, systems and strategies are to be initiated, planned, implemented, resourced, graduated collectively. With the partnership spirit, without these basic elements it cannot be sustained in the long run.
Organization’s Building and sustainability by the Women Apex Body
220 women SHG’s, 55 Children groups, 30 youth groups and 20 farmers associations had been established. Due to geographical situation and traditional bias, forest animals, no one dared to contact these villages. KRWCDS had taken up this challenge and mobilized the above groups. These groups had been continuously trained, followed up, consolidated and sustained, through organizational interventions on their collectively identified issues. KRWCDS was continuously motivating proactive and positive developmental interventions. The impact of the above interventions are group solidarity, space creation, collective forum / platform building, collective values based on leadership, organizational and financial management capacities, social responsibility, structural transformation.
The Women Apex Body had been created with the amalgamation of these aforementioned women’s groups in the year 2007. Today totally 1800 women do benefit from their own Apex body registered. 500 IGPs and 1200 support to the poorest families, Women’s Day celebration, 1222 families from Covid-Response and 18 families from the flood disaster had been benifitted, Audit training, Book keeping training, Digital banking, Networking with other financial institutions, Exposure visit had been organized for the Apex body 13 women committee members and other 160 SHG members of 80 SHG’s. Today this women registered body is managed by the local women especially regular meetings, local savings, loan distribution and monitoring charity programs to the poorest families and SHG’s audit

Some of Our Activities Under People's Organization
International Women's Day
KRWCDS under its peoples organization groups conducted an event in the view of International Women's Day. Many activities were conducted for women's from different SHG groups and they had actively participated.
Active Participation of Women
At KRWCDS women actively participate into many different activities in huge numbers. The enthusiasm and their will-powder to learn and develop has led KRWCDS to grow into such a renowned organization.
Dance Event
On the occasion of the international women's day, many event were conducted by the KRWCDS. One among the other event was the dance competition. Many women actively took part in the dance event. The entire program was also been arranged by the SHG group's run by the Women.
