It involves improvement of the quality of the various components of infrastructure, such as roads, power, ICT, water and sanitation.
Infrastructure has been used as an umbrella term for many activities.The development of a country’s infrastructure is vital to the growth of its sectors and the overall economy.
Infrastructure is considered to be the key for promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
Infrastructure Development for the People and By the People Through KRWCDS
KRWCDS believes in the spirit of the local people. To mobilize manifold resources required for these local people and their organization. KRWCDS had taken the initiatives first to move to the local people. When there was an imperative need, necessity of basic infrastructures, KRWCDS involved the local people to initiate the process of funding local solution and local resources. Based on this strategic interventions, local people had mobilized various basic useful infrastructures such as community centers, renovation of 25 govt. schools, 45 Anganwadis, 30 new wells, Renovation of 85 old wells, construction of 80 new houses, repair of 225 old houses, 890 sanitations, 25 comport pits, 15 established child – resource centres. These are still managed and maintained by the local organizations.
